Mitchell Trubisky Back From COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Buffalo Bills activated quarterback Mitchell Trubisky from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday and released wide receiver Austin Proehl from the practice squad in a corresponding move. Trubisky tested positive for the virus on Nov. 6 and missed the team's last two games, but he'll return to backing up Josh Allen under center in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. With Trubisky away the last two weeks, Davis Webb was serving as the primary backup to Allen. The 27-year-old Trubisky has attempted two passes and has carried the ball 10 times for 27 yards and a touchdown in relief of Allen in three games so far in 2021.
