Mitch Trubisky Plays Poorly In Week 15 Loss
12 months agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 16 of his 23 pass attempts for 169 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the team's 30-13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He also added a one-yard rushing touchdown. Trubisky and the Steelers' offense struggled mightily, especially during the second half in which they failed to score a point. After tossing his second interception of the contest, Trubisky was benched in favor of Mason Rudolph, who took over for Pittsburgh's last two drives. Although head coach Mike Tomlin did not name a Week 16 starter following the loss, Kenny Pickett (ankle) is reportedly pushing to return next Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
