Mike Evans Doubtful To Return Sunday Night
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is doubtful to return to the Sunday night game against the New Orleans Saints due to a hamstring injury. Evans caught his only target in the second quarter for a 14-yard gain before suffering the hamstring injury. This is a really tough blow for fantasy managers in the first week of the playoffs in most leagues, and with Chris Godwin (knee) also questionable to return with a knee injury, quarterback Tom Brady is suddenly lacking for aerial targets. If neither receiver returns, expect more of tight end Rob Gronkowski and running back Leonard Fournette in the passing game. Cameron Brate, Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson could see more targets as well.
