Miguel Cabrera Still Out Monday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman/designated hitter Miguel Cabrera (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Monday against the Minnesota Twins. Cabrera will sit out for the second straight game, but fantasy managers should continue to consider him day-to-day for now. The 39-year-old veteran is hitting a solid .294/.340/.399 on the season with three home runs, 18 RBI and 12 runs scored in 143 at-bats. Miggy doesn't have prodigious power like he once had, but he's still an excellent source for average. Harold Castro will serve as the DH on Monday and hit leadoff against Twins right-hander Dylan Bundy. Castro has been solid this year in limited action, going 26-for-80 with four home runs and nine RBI in 27 games. He'll have added DFS sleeper appeal in the leadoff spot.
