Michael Thorbjornsen withdrew from the Sony Open before his scheduled tee time for the first round, but no explanation was given for his withdrawal. During his senior year at Stanford, Thorbjornsen missed the 2023 fall season due to a stress fracture in his back and also underwent ankle surgery. Lanto Griffin will replace Thorbjornsen in the field this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
