Michael Thomas Trending In The Right Direction
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas, who has played in just 10 regular season games out of the last 50 in the last three years due to ankle and toe injuries, is fully practicing without limits at training camp. However, he's not claiming to be completely 100 percent. "I feel like I'm trending in the right direction," Thomas said. "Taking every day one day at a time, trying to execute at a high level, come out here and make plays and move the chains for the offense, take great coaching, correct my mistakes in the meeting room and just come out here and add value." The 30-year-old has more planned rest days to keep him healthy over the long term as well. Fantasy managers should not be expecting a return to All-Pro form, especially with Chris Olave being the No. 1 wideout now, but a healthy Thomas could be become a key contributor for the Saints offense in 2023 and a great value pick as a WR4/5 in fantasy drafts.
