Michael Roberts Not In A Good Spot Against Bears
6 years agoDetroit Lions tight end Michael Roberts has come on as a touchdown-dependent option for the Lions since his breakout two-touchdown performance in Week 7. While he hasn't scored since then, he has seen the same amount of targets as Luke Willson in that span, and is the only tight end on the roster with a red zone target; he has five targets inside the 20 this season. The Bears are on tap in Week 10, meaning the Lions will likely have to pass a lot to keep it close. This could help Roberts if the Lions are able to get in the red zone, but it's too risky of a matchup for so much volatility at the position. Stay away from Roberts this week and see how he fares against a top defense.
