6 years agoDetroit Red Wings rookie forward Michael Rasmussen currently leads the team with three power-play goals and will try to build on that lead Friday as the Red Wings visit the Washington Capitals. The Capitals penalty kill has not been a strength so far this season, preventing the other team from scoring only 74.4 percent of the time, which is the fourth-worst mark in the league. The big-bodied rookie has a nose for the net when on the power play and may be able to take advantage of it in this matchup. With a full slate of games on the schedule for Friday Rasmussen is nothing more than a gamble in daily formats, but with three goals in his last four games, he could prove to be a bargain gamble that pays off handsomely.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
