Michael Harris II Scratched With Foot Contusion
1 year agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II (foot) has been scratched from Sunday's lineup against the San Francisco Giants with a right-foot contusion. Kevin Pillar will take his place in center field and bat seventh in the order against Giants right-hander Jakob Junis. Fantasy managers should consider Harris to be day-to-day after he fouled a ball off his foot in the game on Saturday. Check back on Monday to see if the 22-year-old is feeling good enough to start the series opener against the division-rival New York Mets. After winning the National League Rookie of the Year in 2022, Harris has followed it up with another solid season in 2023. He's currently batting .287/.336/.454 with 11 home runs, 19 doubles, three triples, 37 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 53 runs scored in 100 games.
