2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (abdomen) was designated to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The team has a 21-day practice window to move the veteran receiver to the active roster. The former Georgia Bulldog hasn't played since Week 9 because of the injury. However, Hardman was playing arguably the best football of his career before getting hurt. He has averaged 4.3 receptions, 56.5 receiving yards, and 16.2 half-point PPR fantasy points over his past four games. Furthermore, Hardman scored double-digit fantasy points in every contest. With Kararius Toney dealing with a hamstring injury, Hardman could earn meaningful snaps if he plays against the Houston Texans this week.--Mike Fanelli
