Maverick McNealy Returns After A Week Off
Maverick McNealy took the American Express event off last week. The American golfer finished in the Top 10 at The Sentry then T-45 at the Sony Open. McNealy shot up the ranks after a win at The RSM Classic in November. He enjoyed a nice run four Top 20 results sandwiched in a W/D at the Zozo Championships. One of the key reasons for optimism with McNealy is his consistency across metrics. Also, he is pretty accurate with his driver (62.87% in 2024). His overall putts per round (28.19) ranked 19th last year which helped with scoring (6th - 69.13). When a golfer can keep his scoring down and his birdies up (4.24 per round in 2024), that helps his chances to contend.
