Matthew Stafford Limited Once Again
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (thumb) was once again a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Stafford continues to show up on the injury report, but he's not in danger of missing game action. He's coming off his best performance of the season in the Week 13 win over the Bears, going 27-for-42 for a season-high 402 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Stafford has a knack for performing against tough defenses, and he'll get the Packers in Week 14. In his first meeting with them in Week 2, he threw for 244 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The 32-year-old has had ups and downs this year and has been hard to predict, putting him on the QB1/2 borderline this weekend. His stock will improve if receiver Kenny Golladay (hip) can return to the lineup.
