Boston Bruins center Matthew Poitras (lower body) could be cleared to suit up on Saturday to face the Pittsburgh Penguins. Head coach Joe Sacco noted that the 20-year-old forward was able to practice on Friday and could be eligible to return. Poitras sustained this injury during Thursday's loss to the New York Islanders. However, seeing him participate in practice a day later suggests this injury is not very serious. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to Saturday's contest as he could be avoid an absence. Over his previous seven contests, Poitras has tallied four points (all helpers) and held a +3 rating with eight shots on goal, two hits, and three blocked shots. If he were cleared to face Pittsburgh, Poitras would likely return to his role as the team's No. 3 center.--Andy Smith
