Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray turned aside all 38 shots he faced in Saturday's 3-0 shutout victory on the road against the Carolina Hurricanes. It was his second shutout in 14 starts this season. His impressive performance helped head coach Mike Sullivan improve to 10-3-1 against Carolina so far during his stint as bench boss in the Steel City. Murray has been on point since being activated off Injured Reserve following a month-long absence. He is 3-0-0 with a 1.31 goals-against average and .964 save percentage.
