Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray recorded his sixth win of the season on Wednesday night as his team defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins by a 2-1 score. The 24-year-old kept a dangerous Capitals attack quiet for most of the night, allowing just one goal on 32 shots in the victory. Murray has now won both of his starts since returning from a one month absence due to injury, posting a combined 1.94 goals-against average and a .945 save percentage in the two appearances. Despite Casey DeSmith filling in admirably this season (2.49 GAA, .923 SVP, two shutouts), most believe that Murray is on the fast track to reclaim his starting role. He'll look to earn his third consecutive win in his next probable start against the Hurricanes on Saturday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
