Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Matt Murray stopped 24 of the 27 shots he faced en route to defeating the Buffalo Sabres in his season debut. This was Murray's first start since April of 2023 as he has been sidelined due to a hip operation. The Maple leafs got out to an earl three-goal lead to provide Murray a nice cushion in his first NHL action in over a year. Earlier this season, Murray held a solid .931% SV with a 4-1-2 record in the AHL. With Anthony Stolarz (knee) on the injured reserve and set to miss four-to-six weeks, Murray could settle in as the No.2 option behind Joseph Woll. For now the two-time Stanley Cup Champion is worth a look in deeper formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
