New York Islanders center Mathew Barzal picked up a goal and an assist in his team's 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on Saturday. As per usual, Barzal's elite speed and skill were on display all night but the sophomore center was tagged with a minus-three rating in the loss. The 21-year-old is fresh off a Calder Trophy win and a remarkable 85-point season but will certainly draw tougher opposing assignments with former Islanders' center John Tavares departing in the offseason. With that said, Barzal is still a mesmerizing talent and should have little issue putting up big offensive numbers yet again in 2018-2019. He'll look to get on the right side of plus/minus and carry his offensive production over to Monday's matinee tilt with the San Jose Sharks.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
