Mason Rudolph Held In Check By 49ers
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph completed 14 of 27 passes for 174 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the 49ers. The Steelers were pretty conservative in their gameplan with the signal caller making his first career start. The few times that they did make some deep throws, gold struck for the offense. Ultimately, it wasn't good enough as the team forced five turnovers and weren't able to take advantage. Rudolph will have a solid matchup in Week 4 when the Steelers return home for a Monday Night Football matchup with the Bengals. However, he's still nothing better than a mid-level QB2.
