4 years agoFormer Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. is expected to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars on a short-term deal worth $7 million per year. Jones will reunite with new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell after he previously held the same position with the Lions before ending the 2020 season as the interim head coach. Jones had five productive years in Detroit, including last year when he had 76 receptions for 978 yards and nine touchdowns. The 31-year-old should be a fine veteran piece next to young receivers DJ Chark Jr. and Laviska Shenault Jr., with Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence expected to be drafted at No. 1 overall. Jones may not have as high of a ceiling as he did in his most recent seasons with the Lions, but he should at least be valuable fantasy depth at the position.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
