Marquise Goodwin Doubtful To Play On Monday
3 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (foot) is listed as doubtful to play against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night. Goodwin wasn't able to practice all week and is expected to miss third straight game. He hasn't played since the Thanksgiving win over the Detroit Lions. With both Goodwin out and Allen Robinson II on the COVID-19 list, Darnell Mooney will continue to serve as Chicago's No. 1 pass-catcher. Jakeem Grant Sr. and Damiere Byrd, who have made some big splash plays in recent weeks, should have elevated roles once again. However, even in a good matchup against a shaky Vikings defense, Grant and Byrd are boom/bust WR4/flex options in the deepest of leagues in this low-volume Bears passing attack.
