Mark Vientos Sitting on Saturday
Mark Vientos will get the day off on Saturday when they continue a series against the Colorado Rockies. Vientos has started in each of the past three contests. During this stretch, Vientos went 2-for-11 with a home run and seven strikeouts. During Friday's contest against the Rockies, Vientos went 0-for-3 with three punchouts. This will open up the hot corner for Brett Baty, who is slated to bat in the five-hole. Through 51 games this season, the 25-year-old has had an inconsistent start to the season, holding a .231/.300/.379 line with six home runs. Under the hood, Vientos has generated a low .298 xwOBA, .231 xBA, and a .377 xSLG, which are all well below the average marks. The Mets should be viewed as a top stack in DFS facing Colorado right-hander Antonio Senzatela, who holds a high 6.50 ERA.
