New York Mets third baseman Mark Vientos (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Vientos suffered a right hamstring strain during Monday's win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. It's unclear how long Vientos will be sidelined, but hamstring issues usually take at least a few weeks. In a corresponding move, infielder Ronny Mauricio has been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse. The expectation is that Brett Baty and Mauricio will split up the playing time at third base while Vientos is out. Between the two, Baty is the more attractive fantasy option.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
