Center Makur Maker is set to join the Washington Wizards' G-League squad, the Capital City Go-Go, after having gone undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft. The cousin of fellow center Thon Maker, who played five seasons for Milwaukee, Detroit and Cleveland, the 21-year-old Makur is coming off a season spent playing professionally in Australia. At 6-foot-11, Maker averaged 7.6 points and six boards in just 16.8 minutes per game for the Sydney Kings last year. Originally a five-star high school recruit, Maker played just two games collegiately for Howard before going pro. The big man faces an uphill battle to making an NBA roster this season, but his skill set makes him a name to keep an eye on as the season progresses.--Jesse Borek
