Mac Jones Posts Modest Line In Win Over Jets
2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones completed 24-of-35 passes for 194 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in Sunday's 22-17 win over the Jets. He added 19 yards on seven rushing attempts. The 24-year-old threw a pick-six that was negated by a roughing the passer penalty in the first half that would have put the Patriots down 17-3. He turned things around in the second half and connected with Jakobi Meyers for a five-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Jones had another mediocre outing, but his performance will keep Bailey Zappe on the bench for now. The former first-round pick is mainly an option in Superflex leagues against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9.
