Luke Weaver Officially Lands on 15-Day Injured List
Luke Weaver (hamstring) on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to June 1) with a left-hamstring strain and recalled right-hander Yerry De los Santos from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move. Weaver injured his hamstring warming up before Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he's expected to be out for four to six weeks, meaning we may not see him until after the All-Star break in mid-July. In the meantime, right-hander Devin Williams will return to seeing most of the team's save chances after losing the closing gig early in the year to Weaver. Williams has an ERA over 6.00 for the season but also has five saves and has looked sharper in recent outings. The 30-year-old reliever needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats.
