Luis Severino To Be Shut Down For Two Weeks
Luis Severino (lat) will be shut down from throwing for two weeks, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone. While we still don't have a clear timeline for Severino, we now at least know that he'll require more than the minimum amount of time on the 15-day injured list. Severino is dealing with a low-grade right lat strain. The 28-year-old has been a dependable starter for the Yankees this year, going 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP across 16 starts.
