The finish was good enough to put the South African at 69th in the FedEx Cup point standings, with only the top-70 gaining a spot in the BMW field. "Shrek" has fought neck and back injuries throughout the summer. His ball striking has suffered, but Oosthuizen has putted well enough to keep himself in the FedEx Cup race. The veteran will need a huge performance at Aronimink Golf Club if he hopes to continue his season, as only the top-30 players in the points race qualify for the Tour Championship.
