Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Logan Thompson had to exit Thursday's game against Calgary with a lower-body injury. Making his first appearance since Feb. 9, Thompson had a great outing by saving 37 of 39 shots, but he sadly suffered another injury in the third period. Jonathan Quick came in as relief to complete the job with five saves in a 3-2 victory. Vegas head coach Bruce Cassidy has already ruled out Thompson for Saturday's matchup against Edmonton. The 26-year-old has done well for the Golden Knights when healthy, putting together a 21-13-3 record with a 2.65 goals-against average, a .915 save percentage and two shutouts. With Adin Hill (lower body) sidelined, Quick will be expected to continue to carry a big load between the pipes.--Taavi Pailk
