Leighton Vander Esch Not Expected To Play Monday
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (neck) isn't expected to play on Monday night against the Giants, according to a source. Vander Esch is still dealing with neck tightness from the stinger he suffered on Oct. 20, although he's gradually improving. Sean Lee and Joe Thomas would both see more work against New York if Vander Esch is inactive. The second-year linebacker is a weekly IDP consideration at linebacker when he's on the field, compiling 54 total tackles, half a sack, one forced fumble and two passes defensed on the season.
