Laviska Shenault Jr. Could Be Used Out Of The Backfield
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer mentioned the idea of getting wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. some touches out of the backfield as a way to create more explosive plays for the offense. Shenault immediately become more attractive in fantasy when Jamal Agnew was ruled out for the rest of the season, and Shenault could creep into WR3/flex territory if he is given more touches out of the backfield. The 23-year-old has seven carries on the year for 30 yards (4.3 yards per carry), while adding 40 catches for 408 yards and no touchdowns on 62 targets over 10 games. Against a Falcons defense that doesn't slow many offenses down, Shenault and the Jaguars offense could put up some decent fantasy numbers in Week 12. Shenault is currently rostered in only 40% of Yahoo leagues.
