4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray (quadriceps) missed practice on Wednesday and is considered day-to-day, according to a source. Murray is working to be available in the Division Round against the Buccaneers, but his status is up in the air right now. The veteran back was injured in the wild-card win over the Bears. He ran the ball just four times for nine yards and caught both of his targets for 11 yards and a touchdown. Murray is merely a touchdown-dependent flex in fantasy playoff leagues, but he'll be even more risky if he plays this weekend. Dwayne Washington and Ty Montgomery might pick up some scraps if Montgomery is unable to play, while Kamara would likely see increased red-zone usage against a tough Tampa Bay run defense.
