2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Kyle Wright (shoulder) is still scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Friday. Wright completed a short box bullpen (catcher moved up) this week and didn't suffer any setbacks. The 27-year-old right-hander reported to spring training behind the other pitchers in camp after requiring a cortisone injection in his shoulder in January. Wright will be delayed as far as his schedule goes in the Grapefruit League, but barring a setback with his shoulder, he has a chance to be ready for Opening Day. He definitely had some good luck in 2022, but the extreme ground-ball pitcher is a solid fantasy starter and is ranked just inside the top 40 fantasy starting pitchers by RotoBaller.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
