Kyle Rudolph Says He Will Be Ready
3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Kyle Rudolph (foot) said he "won't miss any football" after having offseason foot surgery that kept him out of organized team activities and minicamp this spring. The 31-year-old signed a two-year deal worth up to $14 million in free agency. He didn't commit to being back on the field for the start of training camp, but he's following a plan to have him ready for Week 1. The two-time Pro Bowler had played in 92 of the Minnesota Vikings 96 regular season games since the start of 2015 and has 48 career regular season touchdowns. Rudolph will give the Giants a nice red-zone option, but the fact that he has already missed a lot of on-field work with his new team is discouraging. Then there's the presence of Evan Engram. At best, Rudolph will be a low-end, touchdown-dependent TE2 streamer.
