Kyle Gibson Goes Two Innings In First Spring Start
Kyle Gibson made his spring training debut on Monday against the Cleveland Indians and got through the outing relatively unscathed. The former-Twins pitcher gave up a hit and a walk over two innings and finished his day with a strikeout to end the second inning with men on second and third base. The seventh-year player is coming off a 4.84 ERA in 160 innings with the Minnesota Twins. Still, a 3.80 xFIP suggests that he was unlucky last season, and a bounce-back would provide some sneaky streaming value for Gibson throughout the season as an end of the rotation arm against good matchups.
