K'Waun Williams' Suspension Rescinded
4 years agoThe NFL rescinded San Francisco 49ers cornerback K'Waun Williams' two-game performance-enhancing drug suspension on Wednesday because of issues with the testing procedures, according to sources. Williams had stood by the fact that he never violated the league's policies on performance-enhancing drugs. It's good news for a 49ers Defense that can't afford to lose any more players this season. The 29-year-old defensive back dealt with an ACL sprain earlier this year and has just 14 tackles and two passes defensed in six games (three starts). San Francisco's defense is a fringe starting unit in 12- and 14-team leagues against a Rams offense that looked crisp against a tough Buccaneers Defense on Monday night.
