Denver Broncos veteran nickelback K'Waun Williams (ankle) underwent ankle surgery in North Carolina on Monday, according to a source. A decision hasn't been made yet on whether he will go on short-term or season-ending Injured Reserve, but either way it's a tough injury for a solid nickel corner who played in 14 games for the Broncos a season ago. The 32-year-old defensive back is expected to be out eight weeks after the surgery, but it remains to be seen if he'll see the field in 2023. In 14 contests (eight starts) in his first year in Denver in 2022, Williams had 44 tackles (30 solo), one sack, one interception and seven passes defensed. His injury is a pretty serious blow to the Broncos' secondary before the start of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
