Kurt Kitayama finished T58 at last week's American Express and is now preparing to tee it up at Torrey Pines for this week's Farmers Insurance Open. Kitayama missed last year's tournament and has not had much success in previous appearances. He missed the cut in both of his previous attempts in 2023 and 2022. Over the past 12 months, Kitayama ranks in the 56th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. This is noteworthy because, at last year's Farmers Insurance Open, over 34% of approach shots came from this distance. Given his recent performance, as well as his historical results, including Kitayama in DFS lineups this week carries some risk.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
