Kristaps Porzingis Will Remain Out Against Washington
9 months agoBoston Celtics forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) will remain sidelined for Sunday's contest against Washington. Porzingis misses a chance to face his former team due to a right hamstring strain, sitting out a fifth consecutive game. He's missed a week of action with the injury but shouldn't be out for much longer, as Boston considers him day-to-day. It's possible Porzingis might be ready to return on Monday against Detroit. Al Horford always gets to play a more important role without Porzingis and has been a regular starter lately. The veteran big man is coming off his best offensive performance of the season, having racked up 24 points with 6-for-10 shooting from deep against Phoenix on Thursday.
