5 months agoCleveland Indians catcher Kevin Plawecki gets the start Wednesday over fellow catcher Roberto Perez. This is Plawecki's 12th start of the season compared to 23 for Perez, so Plawecki is clearly the backup. As such, he's not fantasy relevant in almost all leagues. By the standards of catchers today, his slash line of .182/.308/.364 after a .210/.315/.370 line last season could make him worth a DFS play against inconsistent White Sox starter Reynaldo Lopez, just to have a body at catcher and spend the bulk of your budget elsewhere.--Nate Green - RotoBaller
