Kevin Gausman Exits On Sunday Due To Hip Tightness
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Kevin Gausman (hip) was removed from Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to hip tightness. According to MLB.com's Maria I. Guardado, the removal was precautionary. Gausman has been dealing with hip issues for several weeks and he felt his hip tighten during his base hit in the game. Luckily for fantasy managers, Gausman turned in a strong outing before exiting. He pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out seven. We should have more updates on him soon. As of now, his next scheduled start will be on Saturday against the Chicago Cubs.
