Keaontay Ingram Scores In Second Career Game
2 years agoArizona Cardinals rookie running back Keaontay Ingram has been forced into a bigger role in Arizona's backfield with both James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) dealing with injuries. In the Week 7 win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night, Ingram had nine carries for 14 yards and his first career touchdown while adding two catches for 23 yards as the change-of-pace back behind Eno Benjamin. The 11 touches were the 22-year-old sixth-rounder's first of the season, but he'll likely go back to being a forgotten running back in fantasy once both Conner and Williams are healthy enough to return to the game-day roster. Ingram was a healthy scratch for the first four games of the season when the backfield was fully healthy.
