Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that the team's starters will play "about a quarter" in the second preseason game this Saturday against the Green Bay Packers. All eyes will be on the ongoing quarterback competition between Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson Sr. Jones will start Saturday's game, but Richardson will take the majority of the first-half reps. Receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (groin) didn't play in the preseason opener, and neither did running back Jonathan Taylor, but both should get back on the field for their first preseason action of the year this weekend. Both Pittman and Taylor will probably only see a few series with Jones this Saturday if they end up being active. Taylor will once again be the Colts' unquestioned RB1 in 2025, with Khalil Herbert and rookie DJ Giddens battling for backup duties.--Keith Hernandez
