Jurickson Profar Muscles Up In Series Opener
6 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in the fourth inning off of right-hander Trevor Cahill in Monday's 8-5 victory against the Los Angeles Angels. Profar has struggled with a .192 batting average in his first season with the A's, but he has racked up 14 extra-base hits, including eight homers, while sitting second on the team with 30 RBI behind both Matt Chapman and Josh Phegley (32). Profar doesn't hit for a very good average, but he has solid power production for a middle infielder to make him worth a look in many fantasy formats.
