Julio Rodriguez Out Of Mariners Lineup
1 year agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (foot) is being held out of the team's starting lineup on Wednesday against the visiting Oakland Athletics after he was scratched from Tuesday's lineup with left-foot soreness. Rodriguez is reportedly dealing with a nerve issue in his foot and plans to be evaluated further as a precaution, so until we know more, consider him day-to-day. With a scheduled off day coming on Thursday, the hope is that fantasy managers will have the 22-year-old superstar back for the series opener on Friday against the New York Mets. Dylan Moore is making the start in center field on Wednesday and is batting eighth against A's right-hander Zach Neal. J-Rod is as hot as they come this month, going an incredible 45-for-105 (.429) with seven home runs, 10 doubles, 30 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 19 runs scored in 23 starts.
