Jrue Holiday Clears Protocols, Out Saturday With Ankle Injury
Jrue Holiday (ankle) has tested out of the league's health and safety protocols but he will remain absent from the floor Saturday vs. Charlotte due to a left ankle ailment. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton served as the team's de facto point guards in Friday's win, with the duo combining for 14 of Milwaukee's 21 assists. Wesley Matthews should continue to see a sizable minutes allotment, with Rodney Hood and Langston Galloway also on hand off the bench. Additionally, interim coach Derwin Ham was unsure if Holiday -- who is averaging 18.4 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game -- would be healthy enough to suit up Monday, further complicating his return to action.
