Josh Gordon Plays Just 11 Snaps In Week 6
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon played just 11 offensive snaps (13%) and wasn't targeted a single time in the Week 6 win over the Washington Football Team. It comes after he played only nine snaps and caught his lone target for an 11-yard game in his team debut in Week 5. The Chiefs want to get Gordon more involved, but it just hasn't worked out so far in this crowded offense. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce are obviously the top two receiving options for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, but they also have Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle in the fold. Gordon will probably be more involved going forward, but there's no guarantee that he'll ever have a large enough weekly role to provide fantasy value for starting lineups.
