Jose Altuve Stays Hot At The Dish
5 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve hit a leadoff home run to begin the Astros offensive barrage in their 14-3 win over the Rockies on Wednesday. The blast was Altuve's 19th of the season and he is now slugging .780 over his last 15 games played. A first half of the season that featured a nagging knee injury and a .262 batting average is now in the rear-view mirror. Since the All-Star break. Altuve is slashing .376/.432/.713 with seven doubles, nine home runs and 21 runs batted in through 101 at-bats. The former MVP is back to producing at an elite level and is a solid DFS play through the rest of the week.
