Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) was forced to make an early exit from Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. It's unclear how Altuve suffered the hamstring issue as he was replaced by Brendan Rodgers in the third inning. Altuve walked in his lone plate appearance and came around to score in the first inning. The expectation is that Altuve will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. There is a good chance he misses Sunday's game, but for now fantasy managers should consider him as day-to-day. Rodgers will likely see more time at second base if Altuve does miss any time.
