Jordan Griffin (18-7) is more than ready for Saturday's bout with newcomer Youssef Zalal. Griffin was scheduled to face Darrick Minner earlier this month, but Minner dropped out the Friday before the fight due to medical reasons. Once in the cage, Griffin is always a finish away from winning the bout. Fourteen of his 18 victories are by way of finish. He's coming off of a guillotine choke second-round victory against TJ Brown back in February. Griffin is 1-2 in the UFC since coming off of a Contender Series victory, and he knows it's important to have a big showing if he wants to work his way into the featherweight top 15.--Matt Bricker
