Jonathan Loaisiga To Enter Rotation
Jonathan Loaisiga will enter the starting rotation in place of James Paxton (knee), according to general manager Brian Cashman. The team's No. 2 prospect and No. 62 overall, per MLB Pipeline, will start on Wednesday against the Mariners. He could make multiple starts with Paxton on the shelf. The matchup against Seattle isn't the greatest and Loaisiga might not go very deep, but he's an intriguing addition to fantasy rosters in deep mixed and AL-only leagues for his upside. The 24-year-old from Nicaragua is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 10 K's in 10 innings over his three big league outings (two starts) in 2019.
